Creating a new project based on an existing project

 

1.   If there is an open project, save it first by selecting Save in the Menu or clicking Save button on the Toolbar.

2.   Select Open Project in the Menu or click on the Open Project icon on the Toolbar. Project filename including path isdisplayed in the left part of the Statusbar.

3.   Save project file with new name by selecting Save As in the Menu. New filename including path is displayed in the left part of the Statusbar.

4.   Make necessary changes;

    a.   Change Main (Executable) File if necessary

    b.   Change installation file name manually since it does not automatically change

    when Main (Executable) File is changed, if necessary

    c.   Change/Add/Remove License File if necessary

    d.   Change/Add/Remove Information Text File if necessary

    e.   Change/Add/Remove Additional Information Text File if necessary

    f.    Change option checkboxes

    g.   Add/Remove Directories

    h.   Add/Remove Files

    i.     Mark/Unmark checkboxes if files are optional for installation.

    j.     Move Files or Directories if necessary

    k.   Check the location of the source files by moving cursor over the label of files

    l. Change selection of 32/64Bit Installation File  (for Version 2.x.x)

    m. Change source of Icon for Installation File  (for Version 2.x.x)

5.   Save project file by selecting Save in the Menu or clicking Save button on the  Toolbar.

6.   Create installation file by clicking Build button on the Toolbar or selecting Build in the Menu. If the project file is not saved or there is a change, it is automatically saved. Progress of the build process is displayed in the right part of the Statusbar and (for Version 2.x.x) in the Progress Status window. If the installation file is successfully created or an error occurs, a pop window is displayed.
